Introduction
Tropical Diseases Control Training Course is designed to strengthen the capacity of healthcare professionals, public health practitioners, researchers, NGOs, and policymakers in the prevention, surveillance, diagnosis, outbreak response, and sustainable control of tropical and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). The course integrates epidemiology, disease surveillance, vector control, climate-sensitive health systems, One Health strategies, digital health technologies, and emergency preparedness to address emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases affecting tropical populations.
This intensive program equips participants with practical competencies in malaria control, dengue prevention, zoonotic disease management, outbreak investigation, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), GIS disease mapping, health data analytics, WASH interventions, vaccination campaigns, and community health engagement. Through real-world case studies, simulations, and evidence-based learning, participants gain advanced skills required to support universal health coverage (UHC), global health security, sustainable disease elimination programs, and resilient healthcare systems in tropical settings.
