Introduction

Public Health Practice is a dynamic, multidisciplinary field focused on improving population health outcomes through evidence-based interventions, health systems strengthening, disease prevention, and community engagement. Public Health Practice Training Course is designed to equip learners with advanced competencies in epidemiology, global health security, health promotion, surveillance systems, and data-driven decision-making. It integrates emerging public health trends such as One Health approach, digital epidemiology, climate and health resilience, Universal Health Coverage (UHC), and health equity frameworks to prepare professionals for modern public health challenges.

In an era defined by pandemics, non-communicable disease burden, and health system fragmentation, this course emphasizes outbreak preparedness, risk communication, health informatics, and policy translation into practice. Participants will gain practical skills in community-based public health interventions, monitoring & evaluation (M&E), biostatistics applications, and emergency response systems, enabling them to operate effectively in both local and global health environments.
