Introduction
Health systems worldwide are under increasing pressure from pandemics, climate-related disasters, demographic shifts, conflict, and emerging infectious diseases. Building health systems resilience has become a global priority to ensure continuity of essential services, protect vulnerable populations, and strengthen health security, Universal Health Coverage (UHC), and emergency preparedness capacity. Health Systems Resilience Training Course equips participants with practical, evidence-based strategies to design, manage, and transform resilient health systems capable of absorbing shocks, adapting to disruptions, and recovering rapidly while maintaining core functions.
The course integrates global frameworks such as the WHO Health Systems Framework, One Health approach, and global health security agenda, alongside modern innovations in digital health systems, supply chain resilience, and climate-smart healthcare delivery. Participants will gain hands-on knowledge in crisis management, risk assessment, surveillance systems, and recovery planning. The training emphasizes real-world applications, case-based learning, and systems thinking to strengthen leadership and operational capacity across all levels of healthcare delivery.
